Chat2Close stores the business information, offers, audience details, and testimonials you submit in your workspace. Connected Instagram accounts allow the service to receive and respond to messages and eligible comments according to your automation settings.

Your information

Account sign-in is handled by ChatGPT. Instagram access tokens and OpenAI API keys are encrypted before storage and are never returned to the dashboard. Each workspace uses its own connected accounts. Workspace information and conversation history are restricted to the authenticated workspace owner. Platform administrators can manage workspace access and see operational account information.

AI processing

When AI replies are enabled, relevant business information and conversation text are sent to OpenAI using your workspace’s connected API key to produce a response. Usage is billed to the OpenAI account that owns that key. Approved testimonials may be included in those replies. Do not submit confidential information you do not want included in your sales conversations.

Retention and control

Conversation data is scheduled for removal after 90 days of inactivity while the background worker is running. You can pause automation, disconnect Instagram, or request deletion from your workspace settings. Disconnecting an account removes its saved credential and stops pending automation. An OpenAI request already in progress may still complete and incur usage.

Subscription cancellation

Canceling your subscription stops future renewals and preserves access through the end of your paid period. Cancellation does not itself delete your workspace or conversation history. To request deletion, use your workspace settings or contact us at the email above.
